Working with the renowned and worthy Dallas Simpson at Dallas Masters I remastered an old album from the 1980s featuring my old mate Stan Stammers from Spear of Destiny.
As the original Producer of the album “First Down” Stan’s current manager, Warren Bassett, called me to see if I would be interested in checking out the tapes and seeing if they could be re-mastered for release. After playing around with the audio myself I took the original material over to Dallas’ mastering studio, had the tapes re-baked and transcribed and the results of one track (First Down & Goal) can be heard one of the featured tracks on this website! Talk about blowing the cobwebs off, it sounds better now than it did 25 years ago!
