Soundproofing can range from stapling egg boxes to the walls to hiring a contractor to install new windows and doors and add insulation with special acoustic panels. Bear in mind however all this will do is deaden the sound of your room and possibly ‘kill’ any natural acoustic qualities you might want to use. It will also do sod-all to stop the sound leaking from the room and very little to block any external noise other than removing some of the top end frequencies………..
